Talkspace is a mobile app that helps people with mental health issues by matching them with a licensed therapist for virtual counseling. Users can communicate with their matched therapist via text, audio, or video from the comforts of their own homes. Spokesperson and Olympian Michael Phelps admitted to struggling with anxiety and depression most of his life until he engaged in therapy and began using the Talkspace app to feel stronger and propel him to greatness. The app offers the assistance of over 3,000 licensed therapists for battling symptoms of anxiety and depression.
When using Talkspace, you first take an assessment to determine your individual needs. The app then offers ‘Unlimited Messaging Therapy’ starting at $49 per week. The app even seeks to help adolescents through the ‘Talkspace for Teens’ section. If relationship problems are your biggest obstacle, take advantage of ‘Couples Therapy’ offered by Talkspace for $79 per week.

Therapy has proven to offer many benefits and breakthroughs in emotional progress. However, if you lead a busy life, scheduling can conflict with your daily obligations. With Talkspace, you can message your carefully matched therapist at anytime during your day to stay on your schedule.
Talkspace isn’t limited to adults. Talkspace for Teens recognizes the need for therapy in teenagers to promote growth and teach effective exercises for managing their symptoms. Since it also offers unlimited messaging, it won’t conflict with school or after-school obligations in interested adolescents.
After some time together, many couples come across differences that can’t be handled on their own. While couples therapy can greatly benefit both parties, personal obligations usually get in the way. The Couples Therapy section of Talkspace lets you seek progress while not ignoring your other responsibilities.

Talkspace is worth the money IMO, but you have to have realistic expectations of what you are going to get for your money. don't think your counselor will be on the end of the phone waiting to call you back immediately. but generally, therapy for depression and anxiety can be complicated with the scheduled sessions where you might need to travel to various centers, and it can be suuuuper expensive in real life. This isn't exactly cheap but still cheaper than real therapy! This app allows you to access services on the go at price that is very decent. It could also be useful to the youth who don't want to go via their parents, and anyone who might want to get therapy services discreetly. But when you message your therapist it might take them close to a whole day to respond.
Great idea - can be really valuable support when someone is struggling. Therapist I used was also really good but I can't speak for all of them, maybe I got lucky or maybe they are all good.
3 main cons: 1) it's fairly expensive, 2) I have to wait for my therapist to respond, 3) my app has frozen several times

This app is simply the most advanced way of connecting to people for guidance. With this app you can connect to over 2500 professional therapists who are qualified to give appropriate guidance relating to your problems.
It’s the best app to get help from if you have the phobia of seeing therapists in person.
No cons so far.
