The Happiness Hypothesis: Finding Modern Truth in Ancient Wisdom is a thought-provoking book by social psychologist and bestselling author of The Righteous Mind, Jonathan Haidt. Social psychologist Jonathan Haidt uses philosophical quotes like “do unto others what you would have others do unto you” and “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” and transforms them into scientific ways to enrich and transform lives.

 

Haid speaks about 10 different ways to improve our happiness and transform our lives, including meditation, taking responsibility for our actions, and forming strong relationships.

 

Haid concludes there is no perfect recipe to achieve happiness, but that his advice will improve lives and make offer us optimal happiness with constant desire to grow.
