Moment

Description

If you’re like many, you may find using your phone too often is taking way from your ability to be engaged in the real world. Social media is a growing and can be a necessary component of many people’s lives. However, it doesn’t need to occupy more time than you desire and missing out on other moments can lead to symptoms of depression. With Moment, you can better monitor your time spent on your phone and in social media and still be able to be present for the things that matter.

Overview

Moment recognizes the importance of maintaining professional relationships and those with your friends and family. Social media can be the best way to stay in touch with those not geographically close to you. Since sometimes we can get carried away with our usage, Moment offers a tool to ‘Measure’ the time you spend on your phone and which apps you use more frequently. It also offers instructions as to how to use your phone and social media in a healthy way through the built-in ‘Coach’ feature. If you would like to set a limit on the time you spend on your phone, take advantage of the innovative ‘Disconnect’ feature. Establish screen-free times to avoid depression symptoms and devote time to other important moments in your life.

Measure

You may find yourself using your phone more than you’d like, but few people are aware of exactly how much time they spend on their devices. With the ‘Measure’ feature through Moment, you can track the exact hours of how frequently you use your phone. This useful tool can help you gauge whether you’re using at a healthy level or spending more time than you thought plugged into social media on your device.

Coach

Training to improve is always a commendable effort. However, athletes, dieticians, and many others know that training comes easier and with more definitive discipline if a coach can help guide you through the process. Moment offers the ‘Coach’ feature that provides guided coaching sessions that are taken one day at a time for you to complete at your own pace.

Disconnect

It may be hard to turn your phone off or resist the urge to scroll through it when you have idle time. Moment’s ‘Disconnect’ feature grants you the ability to establish preset boundaries for ‘screen-free’ time. This way you have an automatic reminder to inform you when it’s not the best time to be on your phone or social media, eliminating the possibility of wondering whether or not you’re using them too often.
